Terms of Service

Welcome to "Yomenu" (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). By using the App, you agree to comply with the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

The App provides the following services:

• AI menu recognition and multi-language translation (Japanese, Thai, Korean, Traditional Chinese)
• Dish explanations to help you understand each dish
• Smart order list with local-language notes and special requests
• Staff View — full-screen order display in the local language
• Order history management

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you should use the App under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Accounts

You may use the basic features of the App as a guest, or sign in through one of the following methods for full functionality:

• Apple account sign-in (iOS devices)
• Google account sign-in (Android devices)

If you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You agree to be responsible for all activities conducted under your account
• Please notify us immediately if you discover any unauthorized use
• You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page

4. AI Feature Terms of Use

The App uses AI technology for menu recognition and translation. Please note:

• AI recognition and translation results are for reference only and may contain errors
• If you have special dietary needs, please confirm with restaurant staff directly
• We are not responsible for any damages resulting from AI recognition errors

5. Subscription Services

The App offers a free version and a paid subscription service (Pro).

• Free Version: Includes basic features and may display ads
• Pro Version: Removes ads and unlocks all premium features

Subscription terms:

• Subscription fees are charged through your App Store or Google Play account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's account settings
• After cancellation, you can continue to use Pro features until the end of the current billing cycle
• You can restore previous subscription purchases within the app

6. Acceptable Use

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App
• Use automated tools or bots to access the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

7. Intellectual Property

The App and all its content (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software) are protected by copyright law and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
• Complete accuracy of AI recognition and translation results
• Continued availability of third-party services (including advertising services)

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App.

10. Service Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the App (or any part thereof) at any time without notice. We may also restrict or terminate your access for violation of these Terms.

11. Amendments to Terms

We may amend these Terms of Service from time to time. Amended terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Both parties agree that any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court of Taiwan as the court of first instance.
